Responsibilities
Process lidar data according to project-specific requirements, including boresight, TerraScan macro development, manual editing/QC, and generation of derived products
Perform independent quality reviews of other staff members' work
Conduct final quality reviews to verify conformance to specifications and requirements
Understand factors affecting production, such as time allotted, quality and quantity metrics, and project specifications
Recognize and solve problems in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule, using independent judgment to determine courses of action
Assist the technical/team lead or department supervisor in scheduling and expediting work processes
Report to the technical/team lead or department supervisor on project status and any matters that may negatively affect product quality
Offer technical support and input for the team, management, peers, and clients regarding procedures and specifications
Provide written and oral reports on technical and professional issues as needed
Exercise creativity in identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency through data-driven insights and process improvements
Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytical tools and techniques; recommend tools or methods that could enhance analytical capabilities
Assist in creating and enforcing information security standards, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or project performance analysis
Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R
Strong understanding of project environments and performance measurement
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvement
Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to enhance data analysis and streamline workflows
Strong understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle and delivery approaches, e.g., waterfall, agile, etc
