Responsibilities
Meet with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs. Helps design and install customized software and hardware solutions for the customer
Tests the performance of the installed system and fix bugs. Provide post-installation follow-ups
Begins developing relationships and maintains customer relations
Supports the business unit with all technical related queries
Knowledge creating/maintaining Oracle objects (Tables, Views, Indexes, Pkgs, etc ) using SQL
A couple of years' experience with JAVA coding
NetBeans IDE /Apache Tomcat – a plus
Knowledge of .xml, .dll, and .ini file manipulation
Senior level developer with good analytical skills that can jump in a large mature codebase and figure things out
Good Communication skills – will need to work with the business to be able to ask questions and understand business requirements
Works independently
Responsibilities include one or more of the following for medium to large projects: Develops advanced solutions to resolve customer and prospective customer issues in a logical, creative and structured manner
Align the client’s goals, needs and objectives to the solutions. Communicate issues and status in a clear, timely manner. Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications. Generate infrastructure support documentation. Evaluate and propose process improvements
Build and maintain a high level of knowledge about the company's software/hardware products
May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required
5 years of relevant work experience is required for Solution Engineer Sr (SG7)
7 years relevant work experience is required for Solution Engineer Prin (SG8)
Knowledge creating/maintaining Oracle objects (Tables, Views, Indexes, Pkgs, etc) using SQL
