Responsibilities
Build and own Python-based state machines that power complex, real-time voice AI conversations
Integrate and orchestrate multiple LLM providers (prompting, routing, tool/function calling, fallbacks)
Write clean, high-performance async Python (FastAPI, asyncio, strong OOP)
Design and test agent logic with automated validation for correctness and safety
Debug production systems and continuously improve reliability and conversation quality
Implement metrics, logging, and alerting to maintain extremely high availability
Design schemas, optimize queries, and operate SQL + NoSQL databases in production
Build secure authentication and authorization systems
Design and operate microservices-based architectures
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and customer support—and ship things that immediately matter
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional Python experience
Strong experience building async web services (FastAPI), writing tests, and operating production systems
You must have startup experience (Seed–Series C)
Solid understanding of LLMs, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Strong instincts for system design, security, and performance at scale
Clear communicator, technically opinionated & collaborative
Preferred
Prior work on voice AI, real-time systems, or LLM-powered products
Experience with workflow builders or automation platforms
Background at a top workflow or AI company
CS or equivalent degree from a strong technical university
