Responsibilities
Conduct routine on-site inspections of contractor-performed maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and applicable standards
Evaluate workmanship, materials, and safety practices; identify, document, and report deficiencies or non-compliance
Prepare and submit detailed daily inspection reports outlining findings, work progress, and any non-conformance issues
Verify that work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards
Monitor and document contractor performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Enforce established Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures throughout the project lifecycle
Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications to support accurate inspections
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience performing Quality Control inspections
Previous journeyman-level experience in commercial construction within skilled trades such as Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC
Ability to successfully complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required
Must be able to maintain access to government worksites
Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required
Preferred
OSHA certifications preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CMMS or work order systems such as Maximo preferred
