Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and valuation
Support acquisition underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee materials
Analyze property‑level and portfolio‑level performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with asset management, development, and operations teams to evaluate new deals and strategic initiatives
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership, lenders, and investors
Develop dashboards and KPIs to improve visibility into financial performance
Assist in capital markets activities, including refinancing, recapitalizations, and lender reporting
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision‑making
Support month‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist with property‑level and corporate financial statements
Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition, expense allocations, and capital expenditure tracking
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed
Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes
Maintain accounting schedules and support compliance with GAAP and company policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment analysis, accounting, or related roles
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting concepts
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership
Self‑starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
CPA is highly preferred with some public accounting experience
Experience in commercial real estate, private equity, or investment banking strongly preferred
Familiarity with Argus, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus
