Responsibilities

This Switchboard Operator is responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to callers and directing their calls to the appropriate extension

Qualification

Customer service experienceMulti-line telephone systemPC proficiencyOral communication skillsCalm demeanorSchedule adherenceCall center experienceHealthcare experience

Required

Demonstrated experience interacting with customers over the phone positively and professionally

Excellent oral communication skills

Experience dealing with customers in a calm manner

Proficiency with a PC and keyboard in a Windows environment

Experience in a position requiring strict schedule adherence

Experience in a call center or switchboard environment

Preferred

Previous experience as a Switchboard Operator or in a role requiring operation of a multi-line telephone system in a corporate or healthcare environment strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to professionally handle high-volume incoming calls, accurately route calls to appropriate departments, and provide courteous, clear communication to internal and external customers strongly preferred

Experience working in a corporate healthcare or medical setting preferred
