Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain GDPS scripts for disaster recovery and rapid restart capabilities
Develop automation, monitoring, and system availability solutions for z/OS mainframe environments
Perform disaster recovery solution verifications and continuous improvements
Automate test cases and ensure robust testing practices
Apply software engineering principles to develop new features and automated deployments
Ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance of all solutions
Build observability into systems, monitor production health, and resolve incidents
Advocate for client needs and collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions
Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to engineering culture and best practices

Qualification

Z/OS mainframesGDPSIBM Parallel SysplexAI softwareProgramming for automationProblem analysisScripting tasksRobotic software

Required

Strong knowledge of z/OS mainframes and related software, including SA390/GDPS and BMC Mainview
Experience with IBM Parallel Sysplex technology
Proven ability in problem analysis and software development
Familiarity with AI software and willingness to implement AI-driven automation in z/OS environments
Programming experience for automation and scripting tasks

Preferred

Experience with robotic software for automated test cases (e.g., Discentis) is helpful
