Responsibilities

Lead live streaming & broadcast operations (RTMP, SRT, NDI, SDI workflows)
Set up, operate, and maintain encoders (BlackMagic ATEM, Tricaster, vMix, hardware encoders)
Create run-of-show docs, SOPs, and redundancy plans (we want your systems brain)
Coordinate crew, vendors, and freelance and employee operators
Troubleshoot live — calmly, professionally, without panic spirals
Oversee ISO recording, audio routing, and post-event content delivery
Ensure accessibility workflows (captions, transcripts, audio clarity)
Repurpose recorded streams for on-demand and social use
Client and staff communication
Direct equipment and labor resources

Qualification

Required

Have real-world live streaming, broadcast, or event video experience
Love organizing workflows as much as running cameras
Can explain tech to non-technical humans without sounding grumpy
Think in checklists, backups, and 'what if this fails?'
Stay cool when things go sideways (because live happens)
Have strong interpersonal skills – we work with a variety of clients, and embracing diversity
Patient and have a sense of humor: You know the drill…project needs can change on a moment's notice, there are fire drills and deadlines
Proficient with two or three video and audio recording and streaming software or apps
Actively be anti-racist and advocate for a safe emotional and cultural space for LGTBQ clients and employees

Experience with analytics, stream performance, or monetization
Captioning workflows or accessibility compliance
Basic editing or social clip creation
Experience training teams or clients on video systems
Insight and working knowledge of PC and Apple computers and software
Have designed, set up or installed a streaming multi-cam set up
