Responsibilities

Performing scheduled maintenance checks, inspections, and lubrication on wind turbine components
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with wind turbines
Ensuring all work activities are performed safely, adhering to safety protocols and procedures, and providing safety training
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance data
Climbing wind turbine towers for inspections and repairs, requiring specialized climbing skills and equipment
Replacing or repairing worn-out or damaged wind turbine components

Required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with an associate's degree in a related field being a plus
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues
An understanding of safety protocols and LOTO procedures
Ability to climb wind turbine towers and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors
Valid driver's license

Preferred

Previous experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required
