The role involves reviewing and indicting felony cases, representing the Prosecuting Attorney in court, and maintaining communication with victims and witnesses.

Responsibilities

In a timely manner, assesses incoming adult felony cases for potential further prosecution, for referral to municipal court or for closing, then prepares the case file accordingly

Meets and interacts with the victims and witnesses of criminal offenses

Maintains active trial docket and appellate work as assigned for trial docket prosecutors

Advises the Prosecuting Attorney on legal matters pertaining to the office

Maintains Twenty-Four-Hour availability to handle questions from Delaware County law enforcement agencies when on-call

Other duties as assigned by the Prosecuting Attorney
