Responsibilities

Inspection of Mechanical assemblies

Inspection of Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with IPC 600 & 610

Inspection of Circuit Card assemblies in accordance with IPC 610

Perform X-Ray Florescence testing of materials and interpret results

Review of conformance and traceability documentation

Entry of all information in the Quality Management System Database – TipQA

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED

0-3+ years inspection experience, 1-3+ years preferred

Ability to read, interpret and inspect technical specifications and engineering drawings

Ability to read and understand military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies

Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no go gauges

Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and work with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

Certified in IPC 600 and IPC-A-610

Strong computer skills + Microsoft Office and paperless Quality Management System software (such as TipQA, Net-Inspect, etc.)

Ability to conduct preliminary review of technical data supplied with hardware shipments

Ability to use XRF equipment and interpret results

5-8 years inspection experience with the ability to read, interpret and inspect technical part drawings, military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies
