Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI solutions for IBM Z mainframe environments, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and MCP servers
Build automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash to enhance mainframe operations and infrastructure management
Work with Fast MCP to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize mainframe workflows through AI-driven insights
Participate in proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate the value of LLMs in enterprise infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Python or equivalent, Bash, Fast MCP or equivalent AI tools (MCP Generation)
Understanding of LLM usage and prompt engineering
Learn cutting-edge tools such as LangFuse
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Use of Vibe Coding for code creation
Knowledge of AI Based Test Driven Development
Preferred
Extensive background working with AI tools
Direct experience architecting AI solutions for complex development environments
Agile development methodology exposure through project/coursework
