e-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Ideal Market is seeking an e-Commerce Marketing Specialist responsible for managing the development and maintenance of their online store. The role involves creating marketing strategies based on business analytics and collaborating with various departments to enhance the eCommerce experience.

Responsibilities

Developing, monitoring, writing, and updating product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals
Developing subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and taking ownership of daily business administration on assigned accounts
Cultivating standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings
Working with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms
Possessing a comprehensive understanding of account best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders
Using spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, etc.) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement
Possessing a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends
Train the staff in charge of managing e-Commerce by store
Ensure excellent customer service
Ensure that orders are ready on time and that the product delivered is one of good quality
Promote our app and services (social media, stores, etc.)
Evaluates reward program performance and investigates opportunities in order to recommend promotions and strategies that drive reward program spend and member engagement
Develops and manages the external marketing plans that support the reward program growth including new member acquisition and existing member engagement optimization
Identifies, secures and/or negotiates marketing opportunities that increases and maintains the reward program
Assist in the improvement of the company's website; design, strategies, promotions, etc
Works collaboratively with Marketing, Pricing and Accounting to forecast, manage and analyze program performance metrics and to report on activities
Assist with projects as assigned
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
