They are seeking a Senior Probate Paralegal to independently manage probate matters and serve as a primary point of contact for clients while working alongside experienced attorneys.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Own and manage Georgia probate matters end-to-end
Prepare and file probate pleadings, inventories, returns, accountings, and closing documents
Manage court filings and deadlines across Georgia probate courts
Serve as a primary client contact for probate matters, including independent client calls
Proactively identify legal, tax, or procedural issues and flag them for attorney review
Coordinate with attorneys on contested probate matters and trust-related administrations
Maintain organized, accurate files in Lawmatics and Google Drive
Work within established systems while contributing to incremental process improvements
Assist with training and development of junior team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of direct Georgia probate paralegal experience
Substantial experience with probate administration
Experience with trusts and high-asset estates
Ability to manage matters independently without attorney prompting
Strong client-facing skills, including professionalism, empathy, and emotional intelligence
Fluency with probate court e-filing systems
Comfort working in a modern, tech-enabled practice environment
Team-first mindset and low-ego approach to collaboration
Preferred
Experience with some contested probate matters
Prior work in a firm handling complex or high-net-worth estates
Experience working in a hybrid or remote-enabled law firm
