Lead Supply Chain Contract Mgr.

BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis region. They are seeking a Lead Supply Chain Contracts Manager to provide contracting expertise, assist with training contract managers, and streamline the negotiation process with legal teams.

Responsibilities

Negotiate or renegotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions, escalating only high-risk or unprecedented scenarios
Drives process improvements and implements best practices across the teams related to contract facilitation and contract life cycle management
Develop contracting playbooks, clause libraries, or guidance tools for the team
Develop and enhance strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, often serving as the go-to expert or main contracting interface for larger or strategic projects
Support and actively engage in continual training, including the onboarding, for Contract Managers, Sr. Contract Managers, and Sourcing Specialists. Provide mentorship to all contract manager positions

Bachelor's Degree
5-10 years of experience
No Supervisor Experience
