The City of Sioux Falls is seeking an Ascend Intern for their Civic Analytics GIS & Data team. The intern will provide support and analysis for the city's GIS and data governance programs, as well as assist in creating and maintaining various geospatial datasets.

Responsibilities

Provide support and analysis to the City of Sioux Falls enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS), enterprise asset management, and data governance programs

Assist in the creation and maintenance of the City’s tabular, planimetric, topographic topologic, cadastral, and geospatial datasets

Design, develop and evaluate solutions using the ArcGIS stack, business intelligence tools, models, automation, and other related applications

Create, edit, manage, analyze, report, display, and publish solutions using spatial and other data analysis procedures

Required

Students enrolled in a Geography, GIS, or Data Science curriculum, or related field, as a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational technical school
