LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm to identify a Litigation and Trademark Legal Assistant to support attorneys in the firm’s Seattle office. This role provides litigation support across multiple jurisdictions and includes trademark-related administrative work.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
Assist with the preparation, filing, and maintenance of trademark applications, renewals, and related correspondence
Draft, format, and file motions, pleadings, declarations, and discovery documents
Support all phases of discovery, including document management and form pleadings
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness notebooks, and related materials
Research, retrieve, and compile case materials for attorney and expert use
Open new matters and ensure compliance with attorney, client, and court guidelines
Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, depositions, hearings, conferences, and rules-based deadlines across multiple jurisdictions

Required

Prior litigation support experience required in a legal assistant or similar role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional interpersonal skills when working with attorneys, staff, and clients

Preferred

Trademark experience preferred but not required, training available
Associate degree, bachelor's degree, and/or paralegal certificate preferred
