Responsibilities
Manage regional PFE power systems throughout their life-cycle, ensuring technical acceptance, operational excellence, and maximum reliability through the development and implementation of standards, procedures, maintenance strategies, and performance monitoring
Oversee the performance of PFE/subsea systems and subcontractors, leading service restoration efforts in collaboration with relevant teams
Partner with location teams on utility engagement and energy strategies, developing energy plans, supporting discussions, designing alternative solutions, and implementing cost-saving measures
Provide on-site PFE expertise during critical situations, support regional teams with troubleshooting, and ensure security compliance
Forecast regional power needs, manage on-site Programs on Demand (POD) installations, discuss and manage third-party support agreements, optimize processes, and conduct risk analyses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience in PFE (Power Feed Equipment) systems, build and operations
Experience in delivering network infrastructure (submarine cable design, cable landing station site selection, or station design and fit-out)
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience with commercial and agreement management
Knowledge of networking, optical technologies, and outside plant or layer one network design
