Teach both graduate and undergraduate courses
Develop advanced graduate courses in their research specialty
Establish a world-class research program focused on the fundamental aspects of chemical engineering science
Engage in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment that fosters both teaching and research
Take on leadership roles and foster collaborations among faculty within the Department of Chemical Engineering and across other departments in the School of Engineering
Involve with departments such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, and Applied Physics
Engage with the Doerr School of Sustainability and with Civil and Environmental Engineering
Engage with the School of Medicine and the Bioengineering program
Collaborate with the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory and National Accelerator Laboratory

Required

Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a Ph.D. in the engineering field in which they apply their work, or a closely related one
The successful candidate will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses
Develop advanced graduate courses in their research specialty

Eager to engage in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment that fosters both teaching and research
Anticipated to take on leadership roles and foster collaborations among faculty within the Department of Chemical Engineering and across other departments in the School of Engineering
Involvement with departments such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, and Applied Physics within the School of Humanities and Sciences
Collaboration opportunities with the Doerr School of Sustainability, as well as with Civil and Environmental Engineering in both the Schools of Engineering and Sustainability
Engagement with the School of Medicine and the Bioengineering program in the Schools of Engineering and Medicine
Engagement with the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory and National Accelerator Laboratory
Applications should include a resume, brief statements of research and teaching interests (3-5 pages total for both combined), and the names and e-mail addresses of 3-5 references
