Founding Revenue Lead — Build the Commercial Engine of a New Executive Hiring Platform -USA Only
NexExec Inc. is building a new category of executive hiring infrastructure, seeking a Founding Revenue Lead to build its commercial engine from the ground up. This role involves creating high-intent company signups and converting them into paid usage while collaborating directly with the founder to shape the company's go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities
Create high-intent company signups (originated accounts)
You will proactively identify, engage, and onboard companies that are credible future buyers of executive talent
These are not vanity signups — they are decision-makers who may not be hiring today but are intentionally establishing access and optionality
Convert activated but unpaid companies into paid usage
Once companies are in the platform, your focus shifts to activating demand:
Helping them understand when and how to use NexExec for real hiring outcomes, converting usage into paid interviews and hires when timing is right
This role requires discipline: pipeline creation comes first; monetization follows when the need exists
Originate and close early company accounts with CEO, CHRO, founder, and board-level buyers
Run consultative discovery conversations that educate the market and validate demand
Generate early revenue while preserving category integrity and long-term positioning
Help define pricing, packaging, and buyer decision logic through real-world conversations
Define and refine the ideal customer profile and disqualify poor-fit buyers
Shape early messaging, objections, and talk tracks
Provide direct feedback into product, roadmap, and positioning
Make disciplined decisions about when not to sell
You will have direct founder collaboration on positioning, initial target lists, and early pipeline experiments — with authority to help decide which tools and investments are made as NexExec scales
Originate high-intent company accounts and onboard them to the NexExec platform
Maintain light-touch engagement with activated accounts until hiring intent emerges
Convert platform usage into paid interviews and hires when companies are ready
Own revenue from accounts you personally originate end-to-end
Qualification
Required
Enterprise or strategic SaaS sales experience
Comfortable selling ambiguity and shaping narrative
Experience selling to senior buyers (CEO, CHRO, board-level)
Value ownership, influence, and autonomy
Motivated by building something meaningful from the ground up
