Hyperscale Talent Partners is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Manager to support large-scale hyperscale data center campuses across Northern Virginia. This role is responsible for the end-to-end electrical commissioning strategy for mission-critical environments, ensuring zero-defect delivery during energization and go-live.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Lead electrical commissioning for hyperscale data center projects
Own commissioning strategy for MV switchgear, UPS systems, generator plants, paralleling gear, STS, and distribution systems
Develop and approve Level 3–5 commissioning procedures and IST scripts
Lead failure-scenario testing and full power-path validation
Identify and mitigate design, construction, and integration risks prior to energization
Act as escalation point during go-live and turnover
Partner with engineering, construction, controls, and operations teams
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to commissioning engineers

Required

10+ years in mission-critical electrical commissioning or critical power engineering
Demonstrated experience commissioning hyperscale or large-scale data center facilities
Deep hands-on expertise with MV systems, UPS topologies, generator plants, and redundant power architectures (N+1 / 2N / 2N+1)
Proven execution of full Integrated Systems Testing (IST) events
Ability to interface directly with senior engineering, construction, and operations leadership

Preferred

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Experience with hyperscale operators or large colocation providers
