Responsibilities
Responsible for insurance-related and patient account activities of the practice
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of office-management software and a good working knowledge of claims procedures and insurance company regulations
Ensures accuracy, attention to detail and ability to communicate well with physicians, staff, patients and provider representatives of insurance companies
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years physician billing required for all departments with the exception of Home Care
Intermediate computer skills required
