Sr. Marketing Strategist, Retail Media

Trade School is focused on the sell side of retail media networks, helping retailers strategically build their media networks. The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for day-to-day strategy and execution for marketing initiatives across multiple clients, playing a key role in supporting B2B marketing strategy across various channels and programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive B2B brand and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and long-term growth for multiple clients
Own and maintain a unified marketing calendar across multiple channels and teams
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop integrated social strategies, content plans, and launch new marketing channels
Translate market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights into clear positioning and actionable go-to-market strategies
Provide copywriting and creative strategy support across marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging
Deliver thought leadership and tailored marketing solutions that address client needs and drive measurable business impact
Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies for industry events
Build strong internal and external relationships, collaborating closely with clients, partners, and internal teams
Support projects end-to-end, from concept through execution, managing timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders
Monitor the retail media ecosystem, including AdTech innovation and privacy regulations, to ensure the brand stays ahead of industry shifts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or brand management
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proven history of creating or managing content
Excellent client management and relationship-building skills
Ability to identify internal and external growth opportunities for clients and the agency
Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative working style
Navigates ambiguity with confidence, bringing clarity, focus, and strategic direction to teams and stakeholders
Creates compelling, high quality content across marketing channels

Preferred

Experience standing up and managing corporate social channels preferred (LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta, etc.)
Business to business (B2B) marketing experience preferred
