Responsibilities

Join a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and scientists in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health
Complement current strengths and enhance the research mission
Focus on understanding ways to use statistical and or computational approaches in mental health conditions
Develop and evaluate tools for more accurate and rapid diagnosis
Evaluate and implement statistical knowledge to enhance understanding of mental health diseases and care
Evaluate the effectiveness of mental health treatments using diverse clinical trial designs
Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits

Required

Current federal funding and research experience suggesting capability to attain consistent extramural funding is required
Candidates must have a strong record of external research funding (and/or strong evidence of interest and capability in pursuing such funding and work)
Candidates must have expertise in developing, leading or substantially contributing to education and research programs concerning computational psychiatry
Candidates must have earned a doctor of medicine (MD), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field
