QT is seeking a qualified Lab Supervisor to oversee and lead the daily operations of their laboratory. The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for supervising cement, concrete, and aggregate testing while ensuring compliance with national standards and maintaining laboratory safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and support laboratory staff in routine and advanced testing procedures
Maintain the functionality and calibration of laboratory equipment, including compression machines, cure tanks, and sieve shakers
Lead efforts to ensure compliance with AASHTO R18 and ASTM C1222 standards, including overseeing CCRL inspections and proficiency testing programs
Ensure testing procedures strictly adhere to ASTM and AASHTO standards
Monitor laboratory performance and provide regular progress updates to management
Prepare laboratory reports, purchase orders, and equipment recommendations
Manage laboratory inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies
Oversee laboratory certifications and maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections

Required

Demonstrated experience managing laboratory operations and staff
