Clinician First Five - BCBA, Licensed, Registered Intern, School Psychologist

The Clinician will focus on developing relationships with families and early learning center staff, assessing needs for behavioral intervention, and implementing individualized behavior plans.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical consultation in the First Five program
Focus on relationship development with families and early learning center staff
Assess and determine the need for behavioral intervention plans for all learners referred to First Five
Work with the Behavior Specialist and Subject Matter Expert to help staff and families with training and implementation of behavioral intervention plans
Develop individual behavior plans and social skill acquisition protocols for children needing behavioral support
Identify children needing behavioral support to determine appropriate pathways of service
Provide immediate on-site access to home-based behavioral and social-emotional consultation for critical incidents
Follow up with debriefing sessions with staff related to incidents

Required

Master's Degree in Social Work or above, with a related area of study from an accredited university
Must hold and maintain, at the team member's expense, one of the following active Florida licenses (or intern): Licensed Psychologist, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Two (2) years of previous relevant experience working in early childhood education, specifically working with children under five years of age in early learning centers
Experience collaborating with center directors, teachers, and caregivers to implement trauma-informed practices in both classroom and home environments
Experience assessing behavioral function, developing intervention plans, training and coaching educators and caregivers on individualized intervention plans, and overseeing fidelity of implementation by behavioral specialists
