Materials/Metallurgical Engineer
Lucideon is seeking a talented and driven Metallurgical Engineer to join their growing U.S. team. The role involves solving complex materials challenges and delivering evaluations, failure analyses, and consulting services on a variety of metals and alloys.

Responsibilities
Lead investigations on a wide range of metals and products
Perform metallurgical evaluations and coordinate cross-lab activities
Consult directly with clients to define testing programs and technical approaches
Prepare professional technical reports and deliver findings
Support quality compliance, audits, and procedure development
Occasionally assist the commercial team with technical scopes and client inquiries
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering or Materials Science
Industrial experience working with metals and alloys, including titanium, superalloys, and other high-performance materials
Strong knowledge of metallurgical evaluation techniques, including SEM, image analysis, hardness testing, and failure analysis
Ability to interpret diverse test standards and client requirements
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear and concise communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Preferred
advanced degree in metallurgical engineering or Materials Science
