The role involves analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing a comprehensive implementation plan for at-risk youth.

Responsibilities
Attend monthly meetings with the Project Director and Client staff to update the agency regarding the status of the project, including progress and any challenges encountered
Attend Planning Council meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data points for tracking and monitoring
Collaborate with relevant agencies to collect and analyze selected data and identify trends
Plan, organize and conduct qualitative research to support asset mapping and gap analysis
Complete a literature review to identify best practices in juvenile justice
Use collected and analyzed data to help inform the Continuum of Care implementation plan
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
1 year of work experience in the social sciences, preferably specializing in criminal justice, juvenile justice, public health, social science, or behavioral sciences
1 year of experience conducting research and evaluations using public health or justice system administrative data
Demonstrate an understanding of statistical concepts and their application in the analysis of public health and criminal justice data
Demonstrate programming language proficiency (R or Stata preferred), knowledge of database management and data visualization
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, respond to stakeholders' needs, and regularly update stakeholders about project milestones
Demonstrate an ability to analyze information from disparate datasets to derive a comprehensive understanding of the research topic, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions
Outstanding analytical skills, including an ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions
Outstanding communication skills, including an ability to present complex data in a way that is easily understood, clear and concise
Preferred
Programming language proficiency (R or Stata preferred)
