Business Development Manager (Intellectual Property)
PONS IP is a Global Consulting Firm specialised in Intellectual Property, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to promote their services to international partners and clients in the U.S. market. The role involves executing the international commercial plan, managing client accounts, and representing the company at key industry events.
Responsibilities
Execute the international commercial plan
Participate in international and local US conferences and represent the company at key industry conferences, events, seminars, and trade fairs relevant to the business (AIPLA, INTA, and local US conferences)
Negotiate and establish reciprocity agreements with international partners
Identify and pursue potential international clients, including the preparation and submission of commercial proposals
Manage and monitor assigned international client accounts
Coordinate and oversee partner management across internal departments
Deliver training sessions and presentations on relevant subject-matter topics to clients, business schools, and/or universities
Manage, prepare, and submit documentation for industry rankings and legal directories
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
Highly valuable experience and knowledge in Intellectual Property
Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal services sales, preferably within an international or cross-border environment
Prior experience in a commercial, business development, or sales department is highly desirable
Proven experience working in international environments, managing global clients and cross-border business relationships
