Responsibilities

Improve remanufacturing processes for engines and components to enhance quality, cost, and efficiency
Conduct technical evaluations of potential reman products, including core condition assessments
Develop reman specifications, Bills of Materials, and core acceptance criteria
Collaborate with core collection teams to maintain adequate core inventory levels
Design and implement testing procedures to ensure reman products meet OEM standards
Support procurement and production teams in resolving technical issues and sourcing components
Create ISO‑9001 documentation including work instructions and process flows
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Provide technical training and cross‑functional support across engineering, operations, and supplier teams
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations

Qualification

Diesel/gas engine systemsCAD proficiencyLean manufacturingSix SigmaISO standards familiarityProblem-solving skillsProject management skillsHands-on manufacturing experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyPower BI

Required

Strong knowledge of diesel/gas engines and component systems
Proficiency with CAD and ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and tolerance stack analysis
Excellent problem‑solving and project management skills
Familiarity with ISO standards and environmental regulations
Microsoft Office proficiency
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or remanufacturing

Preferred

Hands‑on manufacturing experience (CNC, welding, etc.) preferred
Master's preferred
Power BI a plus
