Amtex Systems Inc is seeking an Oracle SCM Functional Consultant specializing in Costing. The role involves implementing and supporting costing solutions within Supply Chain Management systems, focusing on product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

Configure and implement costing modules within SCM applications (Item Costing, Inventory Valuation, and Cost Accounting)

Define and maintain cost structures, cost elements, overheads, and cost rollups

Support standard costing, average costing, and actual costing methods

Integrate costing with Inventory, BOM, Work in Process (WIP), Manufacturing, and General Ledger

Perform cost roll-ups, cost updates, and period-end costing processes

Analyze cost variances (material, labor, overhead) and support variance accounting

Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure accurate financial postings and reconciliation

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and costing

Prepare functional design documents (FDD), test scripts, and user training materials

Support UAT, data migration, and post-go-live activities

Troubleshoot costing and inventory valuation issues and provide functional solutions

Required

Strong functional knowledge of SCM Costing and Inventory modules

Experience in ERP systems such as Oracle SCM Cloud / E-Business Suite / SAP SCM

Good understanding of manufacturing costing concepts (BOM, Routing, WIP)

Knowledge of accounting principles related to inventory and cost accounting

Experience with cost rollups, variance analysis, and reconciliation with GL

Ability to interact with business users and translate requirements into solutions
