Responsibilities
Opening new matters
Sending out engagement letters and invoices
Calendaring and communicating with docketing team
Preparing, proofreading and formatting legal documents, reports and communications
Navigating intellectual property software, case management software and keeping important documentation organized
Communicating updates to clients and retrieving necessary case information
Arranging travel, continuing education courses for attorneys and patent agents, maintaining attorney billable time and other executive assistant functions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with significant intellectual property experience and understanding of patent prosecution procedures
Experience handling multiple legal softwares and case management systems in a hybrid remote environment
Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys
Clear, professional, and proactive written and verbal communication skills
