Production Coordinator

Orange County Government is dedicated to serving the public with integrity and professionalism. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for developing creative graphic designs for outreach and marketing materials for the Utilities Department and the Convention Center, as well as coordinating various projects and events.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Creates and produces graphic designs for the Convention Center¿s sales and marketing materials including OCCC community related events, industry press events, internal programs, OCCC client events, and special promotions
Creates and produces graphic designs for the Utilities Department¿s customer outreach and education materials, including county and department community related events, media events, internal programs, new program rollout, and related materials. Coordinates bid/purchasing process, project scheduling, and production
Establishes the Convention Center¿s or Utilities Department¿s event photography schedule
Creates interesting and informational convention/utility related photo displays inside the facility (ies)
Maintains the Convention Center¿s or Utilities Department¿s photographic files
Develops photography related labor and material cost estimates
Assists other Convention Center or Utilities Department Divisions with production of all digital and print materials
Consults with clients on photography and graphic needs and recommend solutions
Assists with other marketing or outreach duties as needed
Responsible for updates to the OCCC website including content, formatting, photos, etc. Provides designs and images for the Utilities Department website pages
Works with contracted graphics companies to create, coordinate, and place advertising on behalf of the OCCC or Utilities Department
Works with contracted graphics companies for final production of branded materials and installation where needed
Meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) and Orange County standards
Performs other duties as may be assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Commercial Art or a closely related field
Three (3) years of commercial art, design, and photography experience
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
Proficiency in Creative Suite
Proficiency in the use of cameras
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable in Outlook
