Start in 2026 SpringThe Town of Ocean City is hiring a Recreation Intern. This position will assist Recreation Program staff in the day-to-day running of recreational programs for all ages, including setup, marketing, and supervision.

Responsibilities
Assist Recreation Program staff in the day-to-day running of recreational programs for all ages
Run a sampling of programs from start to finish including setup, marketing, hiring, and supervision of staff
Assists with the supervision, registration, paperwork related to programs, camps, leagues, special events, and other programs as assigned
Customer service duties include answering phones, taking registration, and fielding questions
Qualification
Required
Must be working towards a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Parks or a related field
Pass a post offer drug test
Submit a clean 3-year driving record
Background check
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Receiving college credits for work and enrolled in a college course for internship credit
