Responsibilities

Lead a team of Program Line Purchasing Leaders, act as escalation point for PLPL’s, assign targets In line with business needs and ensure targets are being met
Report out and lead presentations to top leadership
Drive accountability and ownership of PLPLs
Lead Supplier selection including the RFQ process, supplier evaluation and communication as well as key participation in sourcing decisions
Manage global procurement activities for the Global Product Line across all customer projects worldwide
Responsible for the change management process for Procurement as well as project planning
Represent the SCM team when working across the functions (Sales, Engineering etc.) and lead technical supplier discussions
Act as the central interface between the Global Product Line and central SCM team (material field related purchasing, quality functions)
Lead and represent SCM in global reviews with the Senior Management Team
Deliver committed material performance for projects globally. Drive Categories to deliver on P2P and Engineering to deliver on Design Cost Saving Initiatives
Support the business in research and use of new technology suppliers
Manage global SCM financial Risk& Opportunity Tracker

Written/verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at senior leadership levels
Teamwork: Aware & understands international & virtual teamwork; demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong cross-functional relationships Knowledge of the Semiconductor market, key suppliers, products and trends
Experience and Knowledge: Management experience (8y+) in Purchasing or Engineering, specifically within the automotive industry
Valid U.S. Passport with ability to travel domestically, as well as, internationally
Education: degree (Bachelor or higher) in industrial, electrical/mechanical engineering
Local resident of Metro Detroit area with ability to work on campus
