Responsibilities
Optimise our cloud and on-prem infrastructure to maximise reliability and reduce costs
Architect and shape the future platforms of our technology, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible
Develop automation tools that empower our operational teams to deliver technology efficiently and seamlessly
Diagnose, triage, and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain maximum service uptime
Gather insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement in how we deliver our technology
Qualification
Required
A strong understanding of Kubernetes
Experience managing a medium sized multi account cloud platform
Experience working with and using infrastructure as code tooling and CI/CD pipelines, e.g. Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible
Experience managing BareMetal Kubernetes
Experience working with GitOps workflows
A degree in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) subject
Self starter with initiative and the ability to pick up and develop projects independently
Ability to work quickly and make effective decisions
Intellectually curious and has the drive to ask the right questions in order to get to the bottom of complex issues
An individual who is able to be flexible in working arrangements
The ability to quickly grasp complex issues
The ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines whilst remaining organised
Preferred
Experience programming/scripting in a high level language, e.g. Python
Low level understanding of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions
Comfortable deploying self managed Kubernetes
