Responsibilities

Define and own the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Solutions Consulting organization within the Fintech or Payments vertical
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing Solutions Consultants and Sales Engineers supporting both pre-sales and post-sales engagements
Act as the senior technical authority during complex sales cycles, serving as a primary point of contact for large, strategic enterprise customers
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and senior leadership to shape near- and long-term strategies aligned to customer implementation needs and market demands
Establish and maintain Solutions Consulting playbooks, best practices, and success metrics to improve consistency, scalability, and performance
Guide proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements, ensuring solutions are clearly articulated and aligned to customer business outcomes
Support customer growth and retention by ensuring strong technical alignment and ongoing value realization for key accounts

Required

10+ years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles within financial services, fintech, or payments
At least 3 years of experience managing and scaling teams of Solutions Consultants or Sales Engineers
Demonstrated experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales consulting motions
Strong ability to conduct deep technical and data-driven discussions, including analytics reviews and proof-of-concept evaluations
Commercial mindset with a proven ability to articulate value, influence buying decisions, and support enterprise sales outcomes
Deep domain expertise in either Fintech or Payments, with a strong understanding of customer use cases and regulatory considerations
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and executive stakeholders
Exceptional client-facing skills with the executive presence required to engage senior customer leadership
Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills, with a track record of building and retaining top talent
Willingness to travel to customer sites and internal meetings up to approximately 30% of the time

Preferred

Background in identity verification, fraud prevention, risk management, or adjacent enterprise SaaS solutions strongly preferred
