The City of Charlotte is seeking a driven and detail-oriented college student for an internship in the Commercial and Community Engagement team of the Aviation Department. This role supports the planning, development, and management of commercial real estate assets, providing hands-on experience in various real estate projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and analysis of non-aeronautical real estate projects, including land use assessments, site planning, and development feasibility

Conduct market research and benchmarking on comparable airport and non-airport commercial developments

Help prepare financial models, proformas, and return-on-investment analyses for proposed developments

Participate in stakeholder meetings and assist in preparing presentations, reports, and visual materials

Memorialize past non-aeronautical commercial development deals

Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants on project coordination

Required
