Responsibilities

Ensure quality enforcement of YouTube’s Community Guidelines. Research and stay up-to-date on key Violent Extremism trends as well as abuse patterns across policy areas

Oversee YouTube’s enforcement operations, including monitoring performance against operational health metrics, overseeing operations with high quality, and driving efforts to optimize tooling solutions

Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on Violent Extremism-related issues and policy escalations, and clearly communicate initiatives to the broader organization, including local teams

Execute strategies across YouTube in close partnership with Legal, Product Management, Engineering, and Google Trust and Safety

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber security, or related fields

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to violent extremism or counter-terrorism

Experience with machine learning

Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python)

Experience in operations such as scaled or sales operations, vendor management, or process or organizational optimization

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels
