Engineer V (Facility Operations-Water Production)

Responsibilities
Perform and coordinate design reviews – incorporate Operations/ Maintenance/OTS comments and edits
Coordinate with plant staff and contractors on performance testing of new equipment and systems
Monitor, analyze, and optimize water treatment processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant performance and reduce operational costs
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades of treatment systems and equipment
Conduct data analysis on flow rates, chemical dosing, and water quality parameters to identify trends and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, plant expansions, and technology upgrades
Provide technical training and guidance to plant operators and maintenance staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Six years of progressively responsible engineering experience, some of which should be in a supervisory capacity
Valid Driver's License from state of residency
Professional Engineer (PE) License. - Must be attached to be considered
