Desktop Support Technician
Franklin Fitch is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users. This role involves supporting various hardware and software systems, ensuring employee productivity and client service excellence.
Responsibilities
Provide prompt, courteous technical support for hardware, software, telephony, and remote access issues
Escalate incidents as needed and communicate outages or system impacts
Resolve support requests to user satisfaction and document all activity in the ticketing system
Install, relocate, and configure equipment for new users and office moves
Maintain hardware inventory and asset records
Support video conferencing, AV systems, and Microsoft Teams phone services
Deploy and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Identify recurring issues and report trends to management
Provide after-hours on-call support as required
Perform other IT duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and M365
Knowledge of Microsoft-based LAN/WAN environments
Experience with VPN, VMware Horizon, and remote support tools
Strong mobile device support skills (iOS and Android)
Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills
High school diploma required
Technical training and at least four years of desktop or service desk experience
Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
Familiarity with ITIL practices
Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
