Responsibilities
Design and implement system interfaces and technologies that align with business needs
Develop, code, and unit test new functionality per technical specifications, delivering high-quality builds and documented test results
Build solution architectures that leverage reference designs, patterns, and technology standards for agility and speed
Create proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate architectures and designs
Enforce sound development practices to ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions
Analyze production operations using monitoring tools, capacity analysis, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
Maintain flexibility and a proactive approach to adapt to changing project requirements
Stay current with DevOps and cloud-computing ecosystems
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Java Full Stack, Spring Boot, Microservices, Shell Scripting, and Angular
Proficiency with JavaScript testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine, JEST) and build tools (Webpack, Grunt)
Hands-on experience with Git and modern source code management
Skilled in designing and developing REST APIs using APIGEE or similar platforms
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, React, and Python (a plus)
Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools like Concourse
Understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Pivotal Container Service
Experience building microservices on Pivotal Cloud Foundry / Tanzu Application Service
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, and knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models
Strong grasp of Agile methodology and DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to articulate issues, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred
6+ years of relevant experience preferred
Working knowledge of two or more technologies is highly desirable
