Responsibilities

Develops and manages release schedules, timelines, and milestones in coordination with development, QA, and operations teams
Oversees the end-to-end release process, including planning, build, deployment, and post-release validation
Coordinates release activities across multiple teams and environments, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks associated with releases
Maintains release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures
Ensures compliance with change management and governance policies
Monitors and report on release status, issues, and metrics to stakeholders
Drives continuous improvement in release processes, tools, and automation
Facilitates release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives
Supports incident management and troubleshooting for release-related issues

Required

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
Proven experience in release management, software deployment, or DevOps
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Experience with release automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and risk management
Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira, Spinnaker, ServiceNow, etc

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Experienced with AWS cloud services, including deployment, management, and optimization of scalable and secure infrastructure
