Responsibilities
Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, and operations teams to build, refine, and extend the firm’s proprietary trading platform
Integrate and maintain FIX connectivity across brokers, exchanges, ECNs, and liquidity providers
Diagnose and resolve FIX session problems, including connectivity failures, message sequencing errors, and protocol‑level discrepancies
Architect, develop, and support advanced systems for position management, order routing, and real‑time Profit and Loss reporting
Upgrade market data feeds and trading system components to ensure high availability, resilience, and seamless failover
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience in Software Development within financial institutions
5+ years experience working directly on Trading Systems
Deep knowledge and experience with FIX Connectivity
Tech stack: Java, FIX (4.2, 4.4 & 5.0)
FIX Engines - Appia, QuickFix/J, Chronicle FIX
Open source tech - Kafka, Ignite or Spark
