Senior Solutions Architect
Crescens Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Solution Architect with deep expertise in Workday Financials. This role will lead the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Workday Financials solutions, ensuring scalability and compliance across various sectors.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements confirmation sessions, conduct gap analysis, and recommend solution options to address functional and technical gaps
Architect scalable, efficient Workday Financials solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Design, configure, and implement Workday Financials modules, including:
Core Financials
Banking & Settlements
Accounting Center
Revenue Management
Contracts-to-Cash
Record-to-Report
Procure-to-Pay
Grants & Projects
Optimize Grants Management processes including:
Pre-/Post-Award Management
Effort Certification
Subawards
Salary Cap
Award Budget Planning
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, federal grant regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
Partner with implementation vendors to design and optimize integrations using:
Workday Studio
EIB
BIRT
REST/SOAP APIs
Prism Analytics
Identify and implement Workday Extend solutions to address functional gaps and improve operational efficiency
Lead ERP migrations from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to Workday, ensuring minimal business disruption
Guide development of advanced composite and matrix reports, dashboards, and analytics using Prism Analytics and Workday Extend
Design automated workflows for:
Payroll Reconciliation
Revenue Recognition
Expense Processing
Subaward Tracking
Enhance financial visibility and decision-making through robust reporting frameworks
Design and implement Workday security frameworks, data governance strategies, and Foundation Data Model (FDM) structures to support reporting and compliance
Qualification
Required
Workday Certifications (Active through 2025 R1): Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Revenue Management, Grants Management, Accounting Center, Contracts-to-Cash
10+ years in ERP implementations
7+ years specializing in Workday Financials
Technical Expertise: Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs, Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics, Workday Extend
Compliance Expertise: US GAAP and federal grant compliance in financial systems
Architecting solutions for Workday Financials, ensuring seamless integration across modules and alignment with business
Experience in multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments across public sector
Expertise in designing and implementing Accounting Center for cash-basis reporting and advanced financial allocations
Strong understanding of ERP migrations from legacy systems, including PeopleSoft to Workday
Preferred
5–7 years of experience with multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments in Public Sector environments
5–7 years of experience implementing Accounting Center for cash-basis reporting and complex financial allocations
Strong background in legacy ERP migrations, particularly PeopleSoft to Workday
