Responsibilities
Greets all guest with a warm welcome as they enter the Dining area
Maintain awareness of guest needs and demeanor while waiting
Seat guests by request or assigned table/section rotation
Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant adhering to Brand standards at all times
Assist with inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
Assists with clearing and set-up of tables as they are vacated
Restocks self-service food and supplies as needed
Dust and cleans room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (e.g. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.; using appropriate cleaners designated by immediate supervisor
Inspect areas for safety hazards
Check operating conditions of equipment
Communicate effectively with Management regarding any guest or employee issues
Use Micros or computer system as necessary
Performs any other duties or special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English at an advanced level to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests
Must be well groomed and have excellent personal appearance
Must be able to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructions
Must be able to utilize and follow a checklist, take inventory of supplies and convey information to staff and management
Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work without constant supervision
Must be able to work well as a part of a team
Must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods; responding to guest and Team Members as required
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Must have excellent customer service skills
Preferred
Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred
