CES Consultants, Inc. is a fast-growing civil infrastructure engineering firm, and they are seeking an Office Engineer to provide services on a NYCDEP project. The role involves ensuring compliance with construction plans and specifications, maintaining records, and coordinating construction activities.

Responsibilities

Inspect all construction materials to be used at the site to ensure compliance with the Plans and Specifications

Inspect all construction activities to ensure quality of workmanship

Maintain daily records of the numbers and classification of workers employed by the Contractors

Prepare daily reports of all construction and engineering fieldwork

Ensure construction photos are taken on a regular basis and are properly filed

Maintain records covering running totals of quantities and costs while construction is in progress

Review and coordinate submittals as required per the Plans and Specifications

Attend meetings or conferences as directed by the Authority

Assist with shop drawing tracking and distribution

Tracking extra work, net cost work, classified item work. Capable of following through with contract closeouts
