Responsibilities
Lead the UI architecture and development of a new system from scratch
Own the front-end infrastructure, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and clean code practices
Build high‑quality, modern interfaces using React and supporting front‑end tools
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss tradeoffs, and shape the product direction
Participate in culture‑focused, scenario‑based discussions to ensure strong team alignment
Review project history with candidates to understand their involvement, ownership, and decision‑making
Implement testing frameworks, code coverage, and front‑end quality standards
Collaborate with backend engineers and contribute lightly to backend tasks when needed
Work within an AWS environment, supporting front‑to‑back cloud integration
Qualification
Required
8–15 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on front‑end engineering
Proven experience standing up systems from start to finish, especially in greenfield environments
Expert‑level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience implementing testing frameworks and ensuring strong code coverage
Familiarity with AWS and how front‑end applications integrate with cloud services
Some backend exposure (does not need to be a backend expert)
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, culture‑driven team
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive decisions, and run with a vision
