Responsibilities

Set up organizational bank accounts and financial tools
Create basic financial tracking systems, controls, and reporting structures
Support compliance with relevant federal and state regulations
Assist in developing financial procedures and policy documentation
Coordinate with external professionals (e.g., legal or compliance advisors) as needed
Conduct routine bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements
Manage annual nonprofit tax filings and reporting requirements
Monitor the organization's financial stability and performance
Oversee proper and timely distribution of program-related funds
Provide regular financial updates to organizational leadership
Support the budgeting and forecasting process for annual programming
