Responsibilities
Own financial operations for Non-Profit clients, including month-end close, financial reporting, and recurring deliverables (e.g., 13-week cash flows, budgets, forecasts)
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering timely, high-quality work and building strong relationships with Executive Directors and Program Leads
Run recurring client meetings, providing updates and answering questions related to financial operations and deliverables
Handle day-to-day responsibilities autonomously, identifying risks, solving problems, and flagging escalations as needed

Participate in client onboarding and transitions by gathering information, cleaning up and assessing financials, and ensuring a smooth experience
Communicate directly with clients to share insights, address questions and resolve issues with clarity and professionalism
Lead and support client audits, ensuring timely preparation of schedules, clear communication with auditors, and accurate documentation throughout the process
Participate in sprint planning with your squad to prioritize and execute backlog items, ensuring clarity on sprint goals, task ownership and deadlines
Provide guidance and support to Associates, reviewing work, answering questions, and sharing best practices
Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure continuous close workflows are followed and maintained
Contribute to a continuous feedback loop within your team—raising blockers, surfacing client or system issues, and collaborating to solve problems and improve delivery
Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, People Services, and Growth teams to support shared clients and internal initiatives
Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven culture rooted in Hiline’s values through mentorship and strong team communication
Identify recurring exceptions or inefficiencies, analyze root causes, and collaborate with your team to design and implement scalable process improvements or automations
Triage and complete assigned backlog items, including advisory deliverables and internal projects
Work in alignment with key company SLAs to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and responsiveness across client delivery
Leverage software, workflow tools, and AI-powered automation to streamline processes and improve accuracy
Partner with your Manager on client delivery, risk management, and account expansion opportunities
